About the event
They warned that the years with our children go fast, but it still can catch us off guard. There’s no handbook or set of guidelines to help us gradually let go of the reins as our children grow older and transition to adulthood. Often we fumble along and are guided by our child’s irritation when we hover too close. The process involves a strange mix of grief and joy as we celebrate their successes that ultimately make motherhood, as we have experienced it, obsolete.
You may be thrilled to be letting go of this role or you may be struggling to hold on. Whatever the case, you are not alone in your experience! Join us in community for a carefully curated experience. We'll celebrate our journeys as mothers and embrace the evolving nature of motherhood. In this space we will feel all the feelings and consciously consider how we want to relate both to our adult children and ourselves in this next chapter of life.
There are no restrictions on where you should be in the process, if this idea resonates, you are welcome.
What to Expect:
Engaging Rituals: Participate in meaningful activities that honor the essence of motherhood, support intentions for ourselves in this new chapter, and help us reclaim the parts of ourselves that motherhood has scattered.
Collective Meal: Enjoy a delicious meal together, sharing stories and experiences that enrich our connections and nourish our bodies and souls.
Thoughtful Discussions: Engage in conversations about our personal evolution as mothers.
Cost: $180/person, payable via Zelle (See QR Code). For additional payment methods, please contact the host.
